Here's how a Pafford Air and Ground Membership Works

Because most health insurance providers do not cover the entire cost of ambulance services; and, because sometimes ambulance reimbursement claims are denied by a patient's insurance company leaving the patient with the full responsibility of paying for the ambulance, Pafford EMS offers families in its service areas with children under the age of 25 the opportunity to purchase an annual membership to help mitigate out-of-pocket ambulance expenses.

When you purchase a Pafford membership to buy down the cost of your family's medically necessary ambulance transports to hospitals or skilled nursing facilities, Pafford EMS will accept your company's insurance reimbursement and will not charge you any remaining out-of-pocket balances for ambulance transport. In those areas where Pafford EMS also provides emergency medical helicopter/fixed wing air ambulance services, the terms of your membership will also apply.
